Project Overview
Revibe helps users discover salons and schedule grooming services more easily. The platform introduces structured appointments to reduce waiting time and bring more certainty to salon appointments.
Problem
Research showed that salon visits often lack structure and transparency. Users usually arrive without knowing their wait time or whether their preferred stylist is available.
Several recurring issues emerged:
Waiting 1–2 hours before a service begins
Difficulty booking specific stylists
Limited clarity around pricing and service availability
Repeating the same steps every time users want to rebook a service
Key Insight
Research revealed that users are not just looking for a way to book salon appointments—they want more predictability and control over their visits.
Users expect:
Reliable appointment times so they can plan visits without long waits
The ability to book preferred stylists they trust
Quick discovery of nearby salons with clear information

Reflection
Working on Revibe helped me explore how digital products can simplify everyday service experiences. Designing the booking flow required balancing both user needs and business considerations, especially around appointment management and service availability.
Through this project, I gained experience in:
designing marketplace-style platforms
structuring complex booking flows
translating research insights into practical product features
Future iterations could explore features such as stylist availability forecasting, personalized grooming recommendations, and loyalty programs for returning users.
